Frequently asked questions
Does DNAGPT give diagnoses?
No. DNAGPT works with a wellness study and does not discuss diseases, risk, intolerances or medicines. If asked, it replies that the study does not analyse that and refers to the doctor.
Can I use DNAGPT with a 23andMe or other provider's file?
DNAGPT is designed for the NutriGPT study file, with its panel version and its number of copies already calculated. For other files, the free course Your DNA and AI explains what can and cannot be done.
Where is the data?
With the current kit, in your AI assistant, under your professional terms of use. With DNAGPT, the file is processed on your computer and CESGEN receives no genotypes.
How much does it cost?
Terms for professionals are shared with ecosystem members. Join and we will explain them.
Do I need to know genetics to use it?
The Panel Guide and the instructions are designed for dietitians without specific training in genetics. To go further, the campus offers Introduction to Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenomics for health professionals.
Can I use it with clients who have a condition or take medication?
The study is a wellness study for healthy adults. If your client has a medical condition, takes medication, is pregnant or breastfeeding, or is a minor, DNAGPT states that the plan should be reviewed with their doctor and limits itself to general healthy-eating recommendations.
What happens if I ask about a variant that is not in the Guide?
It replies that it is not part of the study and does not interpret it.
Which languages does it answer in?
English or Spanish, as you ask.
How are AI-assisted texts and materials identified?
The system's answers are working material for the professional, who reviews and decides what to hand over. Materials CESGEN produces with AI (illustrations, avatar videos) are identified as such.
